The Ugliest Man Competition is a series of portraits based on a memoir found in my family archive. The text, Wyndham - with a ton of salt, by Ken Mellowship, recounts the trials and tribulations of a community of men who lived and worked at The Abattoir in Wyndham, a remote coastal town in far North WA.
